ABOUT US

Orwin Construction is a second-generation builder, renovation and construction company founded in 2011 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Under the direction of President & CEO Brett Ackerman, the company focuses on residential, multi-family and commercial construction projects ranging from new construction to tear-downs to renovations.

Orwin Construction is fully licensed and insured for all work performed with operations in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee.

LEADERSHIP

Brett Ackerman, President & CEO, is a licensed General Contractor in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee, and is LEED Certified. He is a second-generation builder having grown up in his family’s construction business in Florida. Brett is extremely passionate about his work and takes great pride in fulfilling customers’ dreams by transforming houses, apartments and commercial buildings into beautiful finished products. He is a Florida State University graduate with a degree in Hospitality.

To safeguard this objective, the company utilizes sophisticated technologies within its business model, especially those enabling real-time collaboration between the company, clients and third-party craftsmen. The integration of technology into it business model and operations greatly enhances the overall project management experience.

Orwin Construction is a certified General Contractor or Building Contractor in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee. This gives the company added flexibility to work on multi-state projects across the southeastern U.S.

Orwin Construction is also affiliated with important industry and professional organizations, including the Better Business Bureau, Atlanta Apartment Association, U.S. Green Building Council, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, and others.

COMMITMENT TO SAFETY

Orwin Construction recognizes the inherent safety risks to workers in the construction industry. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) reports the fatal injury rate for on-the-job construction workers is higher than the average for all industries.

Orwin Construction places the highest priority on a safe work environment for both its staff and the general public. This includes at a minimum decreased exposure to potential hazards, using protective gear, following standard safety protocols and providing tight project supervision at the job site.

As a result, Orwin Construction maintains an impeccable safety record and endeavors to keep the safety of its staff and the general public at the top of its corporate priorities. The company is fully licensed and insured for all work performed and always mindful of:
